CertOps Compliance Tester (3-6m contract, upon business requirements)

Role: Compliance Tester (Platform Certification & Operations)

This is a 3-6 month fixed term contract, depending on business needs
• Hours of Work: Shift cover between 8am – 7pm. You will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern

Here at PlayStation, the Platform Certification & Operations team are responsible for testing every product that releases on the PlayStation platform prior to release. You will investigate, diagnose, and provide accurate reporting for a variety of products.

Based out of our brand-new Liverpool City Centre Office we are looking for passionate and enthusiastic testers to join the team and make a difference to our players experience.

We offer on-the job training, so you won't need prior experience in gaming/testing, as long as you are keen to learn.

What you'll be doing:
• Complete all required checks, as specified by regional project leader & report any/all problems found in software.
• Check unreleased and newly submitted products across the PlayStation platform.
• Ensure all bugs are identified and thoroughly investigated.
• Ensure all bug information, including classification, is accurately recorded and legibly written in preparation for the Team Leader to sign off and submit.
• Check existing bugs against newer builds of code & verifying the status of these bugs.
• Follow and complete all test cases provided & ensure all relevant procedures are followed

Technical Ability:
• Having an understanding of gaming console(s) is an advantage, however not vital – as long as you feel you have a technical and curious attitude, we can offer training and development.
• Understanding of PC/Laptop usage – MS Office (Outlook, Word, xls)
