3D / CG Supervisor

Job Description

Job Qualifications:
• 2+ completed film or television projects work experience in the role as CG Supervisor
• Excellent knowledge of Maya
• Knowledge of Arnold, Houdini, Z-Brush and Nuke
• Strong skill set in animating, modeling, texturing, lighting and compositing
• Basic knowledge of scripting in maya (mel or preferably python)
• Extensive knowledge of 3D technology
• Experience in photography and with camera technology is a plus

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Demo reel that shows strong artistic skills including a strong sense of colour, lighting, perspective, scale, and composition
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to take on a delegated task with a minimum of supervision
• Strong communication, decision making and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Plan projects in tight cooperation with production & supervision
• Plan and optimize workflows to meet project requirements and client needs
• Delegate tasks in cooperation with production & supervision
• Strong sense of accountability
• Monitor project process and escalate issues accordingly
• Solid technical understanding of all departments
• Interest in current and evolving technologies (open to new approaches, never stop learning)
• Assess the work of artists and give constructive feedback
• Achieve the expectations of a Supervisor: the ability to motivate people, an interest in mentoring others, conflict resolution skills and an enthusiasm for what you do

Additional Requirements:
• You must have an existing EU work permit and permission to live in Germany
