We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director, GPS Sales Operations to assist team members with all category management, market analyses, and lead generation; supervising all prospect management/prospect drafting activities; overseeing all CRM/KORE development and management; managing all reporting, forecasting, and dashboarding; handling all GPS-oriented B2B PR & marketing; facilitating the internal training program known as Player 15 University; and managing the soon-to-be-launched B2B Business Alliance platform.
What You Will Do:
• Coordinate sales team activities and priorities to ensure alignment with overall business objectives;
• Implement and customize CRM solutions to meet business needs and enhance sales processes; Manage database integrity, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information;
• Design and develop reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs);
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy;
• Oversee the launch and management of the B2B Business Alliance, the most robust team-oriented B2B platform in professional sports – managing a ''chamber of commerce'' for over 200 corporate partners of Player 15 Group (sponsors, premium clients, corporate ticket holders, and vendors);
• Collaborate with department heads – particularly in P&C – to identify quarterly learning topics relevant to their teams and overall organizational development
• Develop forecasting models to predict sales and revenue trends, working closely with sales and finance teams to align forecasts with business goals; and
• Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust models as needed and communicate forecast updates and insights to key stakeholders to support strategic planning

What We Need From Our Director, GPS Sales Operations:
• Participate in the annual Business Planning process that helps guide departmental execution throughout the Fiscal Year;
• Serve as the department liaison to Finance – helping manage the annual budget and providing guidance to key members of the GPS on budget process and progress.
• Serve as liaison to Legal – helping facilitate the flow of legal needs/agreements pertaining to GPS deals
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative sales strategies
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills – with a history of working with and for leading sports organizations and executives
Experience/ Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field; MBA preferred
• Possess a minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience specifically in sales operations, preferably within the sports industry – team experience would be a plus
• Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing high-performing sales teams – most importantly in the partnership/sponsorship vertical
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and market trends – with experience and ability to interface seamlessly with Business Intelligence and Finance teams
