We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Business Development Coordinator with the Ticket Sales & Service Department. This role will focus on event planning and the execution of fan experiences. They will be responsible for working with the entire ticket sales and service team, but they will primarily work with the Business Development team.

What Will You Do:
• Collaborate cross departmentally to bring programs and initiatives to life
• Manage a team of six game day staff members
• Utilize creativity to create events within building limitation
• Connect with vendors for events and assets
• Will plan, implement and execute group events, special events and meetings to generate organizational revenue with guidance from participating department leaders
• This will primarily be in regards to Suns, Mercury, and dark day events related to sales as well
• Coordinate, confirm and execute event logistics for all group and special events:
• Planning, task management, internal/external relations, communications liaison and scheduling
• Coordinate logistics and operations
• Day of event support/troubleshooting
• Post event recaps
• Provide clear, concise and timely communication to internal and external departments
• Meeting agendas, setup sheets, run of show, confirmation email, recaps, etc.
• Serve as the liaison for communication between Game Presentation, Box Office, Community Relations, Marketing and the Arena Operations for all Group related events
• Manage Group Sales collateral, website, player and talent appearances, donations, scoreboard signage, picture and video requests
• Assist in the creation of promo codes and other online purchasing systems
• Brainstorm, research and implement improvements to keep events and group experiences fresh and drive incremental revenue
• Assist other ticket sales departments with projects as they arise
• Assist with execution of conversions or campaign
• Will oversee virtual waiver process for fan experiences

What We Need From Our Business Development Coordinator:
• Ability to hold and run meetings with staff members
• Highly detail-oriented and extremely organized
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products such as: Outlook, Word, Excel, and OneDrive
• Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and an eagerness to learn
• Willingness to jump in and take initiative
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Knowledge of Slack, Ticketmaster, Archtics, Microsoft Dynamics CRM system(s) preferred
• Proven track record of strong collaboration skills, working within a team

Experience/ Education Requirements:
• 4 year undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year related work experience in event planning/execution
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be substituted with manager approval

• This role requires the ability to attend all home games. Traditional business hours are anticipated for non-game days. Additional requirements may include frequent evening hours, including occasional holiday and weekends, depending on the event schedule.
• Having reliable transportation to attend out of the office appointments and events as scheduled
• Work includes both indoor and outdoor work with exposure to environmental elements
• Ability to transit throughout the arena for long periods of time
• Occasional travel from time to time for professional development
• S-Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
• Position is predominately computer-based, requiring the use of a computer monitor
• Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person
• Ability to Read, Write & Speak in English
