The Account Executive, Business Development will focus on identifying, cultivating, and driving new business revenue across the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, and PHX Arena events, with a heavy emphasis on membership sales. Reporting to the Director, Business Development, this role is responsible for generating revenue through identifying new business opportunities, selling tailored memberships, and cross-selling a full menu of ticketing products.
As part of the Business Development team, this individual will focus primarily on selling full and partial season ticket memberships, with access to a robust suite of seating options and premium experiences. The goal is to drive new revenue and deliver exceptional service to prospective and current members. Additionally, the Business Development Executive will manage and grow assigned prospects while collaborating with internal teams to enhance the overall fan experience and support membership engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Proactively generate season ticket and membership revenue across all Player 15 Group properties through outbound sales efforts including phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, and in-person presentations.
• Consistently exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals and sales activity minimum standards.
• Create tailored membership packages and experiences that align with client needs and drive long-term value and retention.
• Identify and prospect new business opportunities through lead generation, referrals, networking events, and market research.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects while tracking all activity using internal system (e.g., CRM, etc.)
• Provide best-in-class service by managing onboarding, engagement, and renewal communications for season ticket members.
• Partner cross-functionally with marketing, game presentation, and fan experience teams to enhance the membership value proposition.
• Attend games and events to host clients, build relationships, and identify upsell and referral opportunities.
• Support department-wide initiatives that contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in membership strategy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Minimum Criteria:
• 1-3 years of sales experience (ticket sales, B2B, fundraising, or hospitality sales preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Criteria:
• Coachable, collaborative, and driven with a strong work ethic and commitment to individual and team success.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for relationship building.
• Comfortable with cold calling, in-person meetings, and event hosting.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficient in Ticketmaster Archtics, Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
• Strong desire to grow a career in sports ticket sales and service.

• Position is predominately computer-based, requiring the use of a computer monitor.
• Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person.
