JOB TITLE: DR Academy Assistant Pitching Coach
DEPARTMENT: Player Development
LOCATION: Dominican Republic
STATUS: Full-Time

The Philadelphia Phillies are seeking a DR Academy Assistant Pitching Coach for the 2026 Championship season. This position will serve as a uniformed coach with the responsibility of executing the organization's pitching philosophy and individual player plans in The Dominican Summer League, located in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary duties to include, but not limited to the following:
• Design and execute daily pitching practice plans
• Collaborate with pitching leadership to design and execute individual player plans
• Collaborate with medical staff and strength coaches to identify and correct movement deficiencies
• Utilize analytical tools and data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and development opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualificaitons:
• Former professional or collegiate playing or coaching experience
• Relevant experience coaching high level pitchers in a private facility is also acceptable
• Exceptional organization and communication skills
• Appreciation for the use of data and information from technologies such as Trackman, Rapsodo, and Edgertronic Cameras
• Appreciation for functional movement and biomechanical development
• Intrinsically motivated, reliable, and a growth mindset
• Ability to communicate at a professional level in both Spanish and English
Preferred Qualifications:
• Technical Degree
