Reportando al director de Marketing, formará parte de un equipo responsable de administrar los metadatos y los activos de información de nuestro catálogo.
Funciones:
• Recopilar información utilizando diferentes fuentes de información (equipo editorial, otras empresas del grupo, Internet, etc.) para las novedades
• Alimentar las diferentes bases de datos con la información correcta para todos los títulos
• Enviar información a los clientes que no toman el suministro de datos de Onix
• Mantener los metadatos actualizados en nuestras diferentes bases de datos
• Abordar todos los problemas de la base de datos que surgen con nuestros sistemas y / o clientes
• Localizar y corregir errores en los datos
• Otras funciones asignadas
El candidato ideal:
• Nivel nativo en español. Fluidez en inglés
• Hábil en herramientas de microsoft (Excel, Word, power point)
• Orientado a los detalles con una fuerte aptitud técnica
• Entusiasta por aprender y profundizar en los datos de una variedad de recursos.
• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y capacidad para trabajar en un entorno acelerado
• Experiencia previa trabajando con metadatos o sistemas de gestión de datos es una ventaja
• Interesado en metadatos, SEO y conceptos similares
• Experiencia en entorno SAP deseada

Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial, the leader in Spanish Language Publishing in the US, is seeking a Metadata Asistant who can join our team in Miami, FL. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will be part of a team responsible for managing our catalogue's metadata and information assets.
What you'll do:
• Gather information (editorial team, sister companies, internet, etc.) on new releases as needed for publication of monthly catalog
• Perform data entry of title information to our database and maintain accurate information for all titles
• Upload/send information to certain customers that do not take Onix datafeed
• Keep metadata constantly updated in our different databases
• Address all database issues that arise with our systems and/or customers
• Locate and correct data entry errors
• Perform other duties as assigned
An ideal candidate:
• Native level in Spanish. Fluent in English
• Proficient in Microsoft tools
• Detail-oriented with a strong technical aptitude
• Demonstrates eagerness to learn and to dig into data from a variety of resources
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience working with metadata or data management systems is a plus
• Interested in metadata, SEO, and similar concepts
• Experience in SAP is ideal
Salary for the position is $40,000.
