Penguin Random House is seeking a dynamic self-motivated Customer Service Representative to join our growing Support Center in Westminster Maryland. The regular working hours for this position are Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.

Candidates must have a professional and natural communication style, pleasant personality, be committed to providing exceptional Customer Service and embrace our high standard of professional ethics. Strong listening skills and technical skills to include EXCEL proficiency is essential. Skills assessment may be part of the consideration process.
Our support representatives serve as the first point of phone and email contact for our customers, sales representatives and other internal and external customers answering inquiries relating to product and pricing, order tracking and problem resolution.

The salary for this position is $41,225.60 ($19.82/hour).

All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to company results.

We are seeking Candidates with:
-High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
-2-3 year's prior customer service experience
-Order fulfillment experience. This experience in a support center environment is preferred
-Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task, work independently & be a self-starter
-PC Proficiency to include Microsoft EXCEL
-Experience communicating through email, Outlook a plus
-Effective written and oral communication skills
-Professional, patient and empathic phone presence
-SAP and MARC experience a PLUS!
-Bilingual or Multilingual fluency a PLUS!
