Associate National Account Manager, Ingram Content Group (Open to Remote)

Penguin Random House is looking for a highly motivated and flexible candidate to join the National Distributor Sales team. This position will be responsible for selling Random House, Crown, and KDPG adult books to Ingram Content Group, one of the largest book wholesale distributors in the world. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with the ability to multi-task and work both collaboratively and independently to meet various deadlines.

Specific Responsibilities Include:   
• Prepares, researches, and sells publisher titles to multiple buyers. 
• Runs daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to manage account inventory and identify opportunities for sales growth.  
• Tracks and manages orders, estimates, and inventory. 
• Creates seasonal presentations for the account.   
• Manages coop pool and contracts, working closely with the marketing managers to meet deadlines and provide titles for various advertising.  
• Representing the account at all internal meetings including but not limited to launch, strategy, sales conference, and sales and marketing meetings.  
• Remains up to date on industry trends and promotions happening at other retail accounts to better service the distributor and their customers.  

Qualifications:  
• Two years' experience with a sales team preferred, publishing background a plus. 
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects while working within a fast-paced environment.  
• Strong analytical and organizational skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. 
• Ability to work well under pressure and problem solve. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. 
• Ability to travel domestically via train, plane, and or car up to 15% of the year.

The salary for this position is $63,000 and is eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
