Art Rights Assistant - Audio (Open to remote)
Penguin Random House Audio, the premiere publisher in the audiobook industry, is seeking a Audio Art Rights Assistant to work within the Audio Art Rights and Design team. This division publishes over 2200 top-quality fiction and nonfiction audiobooks per year across multiple formats and genres. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about publishing and to work with a diverse range of genres.
Responsibilities will include:
• Coordinate with Audio Rights, trade book publishers, and Audio Art to process usage agreements and vendor invoices
• Working with Accounts Payable to set up outside vendors' accounts and process payments
• Troubleshoot issues with vendor paperwork and invoices or payments
• Communicate with multiple vendors regarding agreements and invoice submissions
• Assist with special projects as needed
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail a must
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadline-driven projects simultaneously
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Proven ability to problem-solve and navigate issues diplomatically and professionally
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of SAP and/or FileMaker Pro a plus but not required
The salary for this position is $48,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus subject to company results.
