Penguin Random House Consumer Marketing is seeking an Ad Operations Coordinator to join the Paid Media Strategy and AdOps team, a team dedicated to paid media planning, execution, optimization, and reporting; The Ad Operations Coordinator will be responsible for set-up and management of self-serve advertising campaigns, including search, social, and DSP platforms. You'll provide key support and best practices as we staff, structure and refine our growing corporate digital advertising operations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage implementation of ad operations requirements for advertising campaigns, including tracking, tagging, and campaign set-up
• Actively manage and optimize live digital campaigns
• Work closely with internal marketing teams to troubleshoot ad platform issues
• Collaborate with the Marketing Performance team to compile and deliver regular campaign reports to help guide marketers on best practices and identify areas of improvement
• Compile articles and information for an internal biweekly advertising newsletter
• Assist with creation
of seasonal and annual performance reports to inform future strategy and increase departmental efficiency and campaign effectiveness
• Coordinate efforts related to ad technology partners (potential ad servers, DMPs, DSPs, etc.) including integration, workflow, and management
• Assist with POs and invoices
Requirements:
• 1- 2 years of experience in digital advertising, in ad operations/trafficking or similar role
• Fluency in the language of digital marketing metrics and online measurement (CTR, CPM, ROAS, etc)
• Proficiency and proven experience with Microsoft Excel (including formulas)
• Experience managing self-serve campaigns in Facebook/Instagram and Google Ads
• Familiarity with the ad tech ecosystem, including ad servers, DSPs, and ad exchanges
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex and technical details clearly
• Experience with web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics a plus
• Understanding of best practices for paid search and paid social advertising knowledge of or ability to learn existing and developing consumer data collection laws, usage, and best practices, as they relate to advertising and audience targeting
• Ability to work independently and manage own projects in a fast-paced environment, as well as collaborate with and support efforts of the larger team
• Quick learner of new technologies and tools
• An eye for trends: both spotting them in data and identifying them in the advertising landscape
