The Business Operations & Strategy group is looking for an exceptional candidate for the position of Manager, Ad Sales Growth Strategy. You will be joining a blue-chip team with significant media experience in addition to varied professional services backgrounds. As Manager, you will play a vital role within the Business Operations & Strategy group. You will impact new revenue generation across Peacock and the broader NBCUniversal portfolio by identifying growth opportunities and playing a central role within the NBCU Ad Sales team.

The NBCU Ad Sales Strategy team is responsible for driving long-term growth opportunities for the wider sales organization. Acting as strategic consultants, this dynamic team supports Ad Sales and corporate stakeholders across a wide range of initiatives including sales optimization, go-to-market strategies, budgeting and planning analyses, and market insights. The Manager will interface with business leaders across multiple functions, both inside and outside Ad Sales. We're looking for a dynamic person to bring innovative thinking and strong analytical skills to help grow our business.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the monetization and go-to-market strategy of NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming service:
• Formulate long-term, holistic vision for Peacock within the broader NBCU Ad Sales portfolio, while ensuring tactical year-to-year progress toward that vision:
• Drive marketplace and competitive insights to inform NBCU's long-term growth opportunities
• Develop business case strategic analysis to drive data-driven decisions for long-term strategy
• Support the facilitation of cross-portfolio brainstorms with executive stakeholders
• Collaborate with core digital, linear and agency strategy teams to ensure alignment against long-term strategic vision
• Partner with executive stakeholders to establish buy-in and develop executional plans to operationalize long-term strategy
• Develop C-Suite executive presentations for the NBCU Ad Sales organization to inform leadership on monetization strategy, performance, and new opportunities for growth / investment
• Collaborate with broader NBCU corporate stakeholders to ensure holistic planning across all assets, including Peacock and existing business assets:
• Partner with corporate Research and Finance teams to ensure total holistic audience planning across Peacock and existing business assets
• Drive joint corporate analytics and success metrics across Sales, Distribution and Content
• Collaborate on sales implications of content acquisition and strategic planning decisions through thoughtful business analysis in partnership with finance
• Partner on holistic marketing engagement strategies to align with cross-platform audience growth and revenue opportunities
• Support the development of NBCU's portfolio sales go-to-market positioning:
• Partner with Marketing to formulate a marketplace narrative that supports our strategic sales initiatives
• Partner with Research teams to formulate new analyses and case studies to pressure test and/or reinforce our marketplace narrative
• Partner on strategic sales initiatives and events to establish cohesive sales channel and monetization strategies across all assets (e.g. Olympics)
• Develop recommendations to maximize monetization and streamline sales efforts
• Liaison with cross-portfolio Sales and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and buy-in
• Partner with Sales Operations and Ad Experience teams on technical requirements
• Partner with Planning and Inventory teams on performance / real-time monitoring during event
• Drive cross-portfolio sales KPIs in partnership with Peacock and Core Linear/Digital teams
• Identify priority KPIs across all NBCU sales teams to drive consistent performance evaluation in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders
• Ensure methodology of metrics consistent across assets
• Identify new KPIs for measurement in partnership key stakeholders across the Planning, Finance, and Ad Experience teams
• Support the automation of KPIs in partnership with the sales BI team
• Drive ad hoc requests with thoughtful, diligent business case analysis in coordination with cross-functional partners

Basic Qualifications:
• Must possess a passion for media and strong intellectual curiosity
• 4+ years previous relevant work experience; this could include professional services (e.g., consulting, investment banking) or media experience at a large network/publisher/agency
• Proven quantitative analytical abilities, including Excel modeling skills
• Strong PowerPoint skills and proven proficiency summarizing information/analyses into coherent and concise slides
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; the ability to present results of complex analyses clearly
• Excellent organizational, time and people management skills and the ability to work in groups and independently
• BA/BS required

Eligibility Requirements:
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older

Desired Characteristics
• Previous experience in advertising sales or at a media company a plus
• Ideal candidate is a proactive individual who possesses the ability to take initiative and perform analysis and other tasks with minimal supervision, including the ability to deal with competing priorities effectively, and work efficiently in a high-paced, results-oriented environment
• Passion for diving into complex concepts, defining value propositions and championing the voice of sales
• Ability to develop strong relationships with across all levels of the organization
