Responsibilities include:
• Support Peacock Regulatory Compliance & Data Security team in managing Peacock's compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards related to the Peacock consumer and viewing product, ad sales, and technology and data use.
• Manage legal responses to customer communications.
• Assist attorneys with tracking applicable data privacy, consumer and other regulations and industry standards.
• Assist attorneys with compiling and distributing training and guidance materials.
• Assist with various privacy and regulatory compliance projects and perform other program-related duties as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Either (i) a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a professional role requiring organizational skills and careful attention to detail, as well as a Bachelor's Degree, or (ii) a Juris Doctorate Degree.
• Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered and must be willing to submit transcripts.
• Willingness to work nights and on weekends, if needed.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• Must live within commuting distance of one of the Direct-to-Consumer group's US hubs on the East Coast (New York, Stamford or Orlando) or West Coast (Universal City or Beverly Hills).
Basic Qualifications:
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, as well as solid interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills (including Microsoft Word, internet sources, and ability to master many NBCU applications)
