The Director role is responsible for the strategy, development and execution of publicity campaigns for the Peacock brand and select titles. Reporting to the East Coast Vice President of Publicity, the Director will be a key member of the communications team by building the Peacock brand and also supporting and managing multi-platform campaigns that will generate high-quality earned media. The candidate must have experience in brand publicity or corporate communications and a passion for creative storytelling. Ideal candidate will be a creative, motivated self-starter with a team-focused attitude, and a solutions-oriented approach.

Essential Responsibilities
• Partner with Vice President, Publicity to further Peacock's brand narrative with the media, devising creative tactics and working directly with press
• Oversee, develop and execute consumer PR campaigns with a thoughtful, strategic approach that drives brand awareness and relevance
• Work cross-functionally with partners in marketing, social media, research and analytics and others to bring campaigns to life
• Foster strong contacts with print, online and electronic media
• Generate press materials for select Peacock titles, including announcement releases, bios, captions, talking points, pitch letters and correspondence.
• Secure stories, manage and staff interviews and events, compile and present comprehensive campaign coverage and analysis.
• Develop and manage positive relationships with the talent, producers, publicists, agents, managers, production staff, media and executives.
• Pitch ideas and create promotional opportunities for talent, content and the growing offering on Peacock.
• Possess a strong understanding of and experience with social media.
• Cross over multi-promotional platforms and create synergistic opportunities through marketing and publicity.
• Establish trusting relationships with content executives, producers, marketing, social media and other x-functional stakeholders both internally and externally.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in publicity handling consumer or brand campaigns

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 (bonus eligible)
