Overview and Responsibilities:

The Paramount Talent Acquisition Team is looking for a Vice President to drive talent attraction for CBS News & Stations! This role will lead, inspire, and develop our amazing team as they deliver exemplary recruiting results for the News & Stations businesses. The VP will be instrumental in developing our recruitment strategies, initiatives, and solutions in parallel with the News & Stations businesses. The successful incumbent will be an active consumer of news with impeccable judgment who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They are an innovator, always thinking ahead creating operational efficiencies, elevating our approach and processes, anticipating needs of the business, while developing and coaching their team.
• Implement overall recruiting strategy for the business, ensuring exceptional service across all key partners.
• Lead, develop and motivate a team of recruiting professionals in attracting, recruiting, and hiring top talent across all markets.
• Coach and counsel leadership around talent engagement and recruiting strategies
• Consistently collaborate with key HR partners and business leaders and establish relationships with senior leaders and client groups to fully understand their objectives.
• Lead efforts to analyze key recruiting results and report on trends to key business and HR partners
• Support headcount management, forecasting and reconciliation with HR and Finance partners.
• Provide consultative support, attention to detail, follow up and follow through for the business and key partners.

Basic Qualifications:
• 15+ years of Talent Acquisition experience
• 5+ years of people management experience
• Demonstrated success recruiting for Stations and News a must
• BA/BS Degree
• Must love News!

Additional Qualifications:
• Experience in the launch and optimization of processes and programs designed to continuously improve service delivery
• Exemplary relationship building skills and the ability to quickly form partnerships across all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to lead large initiatives and facilitate large cross-functional meetings
• Knowledge of current federal, state and local employment and labor laws
• Demonstrated exceptional judgement and proven ability to navigate competing priorities
• Solid understanding on how to maximize ATS/system technologies
• Strong proficiency within the MS office suite and social media

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $182,880.00 - 228,600.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
