Overview

Paramount is seeking an VP Ecommerce – Amazon! Digital commerce is the fastest growing sales channel in the global retail landscape and in the sales of our Paramount Consumer Products (PCP). This role will build the strategy and execution of our PCP Ecommerce business growth through Amazon.

Responsibilities
• Leverage a strong retail and digital commercial awareness to author & define Sales and Marketing Strategies (near and long term) to materially grow PCP revenues and OI through Amazon.
• Clearly articulate the value proposition of the Amazon strategy through a strong commercial and analytical understanding of where Paramount's business sits within the categories we play in.
• Road-mapping the team to unlock untapped growth potential through market and category analysis that will illuminate opportunities where Paramount is underdeveloped.
• Develop positive relationships with our licensing partner senior leadership and commercially influence and upskill our licensees to build go to market strategies that meet or exceed the requirements of Amazon and build trust with the customer.
• Act as the champion of Paramount CPs' (PCPs') Amazon business and voice to internal collaborators at Paramount by upskilling and defining what the picture of success looks like to the organization.
• Leverage, define, and introduce opportunities to unlock growth through business intelligence, data analysis, and data management.
• Build and maintain relationships with Amazon Vendor Management Leadership by acting as the GM of business by leading the communication of the joint strategic priorities.
• Build brand awareness and secure product placement and ownable retail & marketing opportunities on Amazon for Paramount Big Bets, and all IP/brands.
• Develop and Lead Marketing Programs to drive consumer engagement and sales of PCP Products and Franchises.
• Build high-level relationships across each division of Amazon
• Set strategy for Ecommerce maximization through Amazon including partner mix, product architecture, inventory management & full marketing mix.
• Drive partner and product rigor to achieve sales growth for PCP products.
• Secure new business models to optimize categories lagging in traditional licensing business.
• Serve as the center-of-excellence for all PCP markets to optimize our Ecommerce sales with global & local accounts and lead the strategy with all licensing partners for step-change growth.
• Strategically balance marketplace/third party sales strategies with first party sales across every category and partner.
• Lead the marketing strategy to combine tent-pole events with ''Always on'' campaigns to improve product discovery, customer experience and sell through. Set guidelines and budgets for SEO & SEM with projected return on investments, respectively.
• Build programs that can be used across the company with Amazon to energize our properties and product sales.
• Develop strong understanding of all assets of the company to devise/implement account-specific plans, including Digital Content, Consumer Products, and Lines of Business and executive leadership.
• Ideate new product innovation that delivers on Amazon's retail strategy & initiatives.
• Coordinate with Retail Marketing team to develop and pitch retail programs, product or category exclusives, and digital marketing campaigns. This includes identifying and communicating product priorities and collecting ASINs from partners.
• Help pitch retailers to influence sell-in while us marketing and promotional partnership opportunities.
• Meet revenue goals by securing, developing and implementing retail programs designed to drive revenue across key licensed product categories.
• Build and manage revenue projections and long-range growth plans (LRP).
• Support licensing team to vet vendors and rank best-in-class partners as an ongoing evaluation of licensees at retail.
• Collaborate with the broader licensing team, craft product and retail strategies that identify white space and ideal Amazon licensees to fill voids and optimize revenue.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree; Master's degree, preferred.
• 8+ years' experience in Ecommerce retail sales, marketing and/or promotions.
• 5+ years of leading a team of at least 5.

Additional Qualifications:
• Strong Strategy & Planning Skills.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital commerce programs.
• P&L Management experience.
• Experience in a matrixed organization.
• Experience in developing 360-degree marketing plans for consumer products.
• Deep and elevated relationships with Ecommerce Retailers (Primarily Amazon).
• Work experience at three of the following preferred: Ecommerce Pure Play Retail Account, Mass Account Ecommerce, Entertainment Company, Retail Micro-sites, Consumer Packaged Goods, Toy or licensed children's apparel company.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $205,000.00 - 215,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
