Paramount is seeking a Senior Vice President of Workplace Strategy! A key focus of this role will be placed on ensuring that space is strategically planned for, to ensure optimal utilization, implement and improve agile workplace solutions to create a best-in-class employee experience and support not only the conduct of the company's business but also its financial goals. The Senior Vice President of Workplace strategy will create a workplace strategy and plan that enables our clients to transform their workplace environment and secure buy-in from internal/external stakeholders.
• Gain a deep understanding of the business strategies, human capital strategies, and operational needs of the company and craft a modern workplace strategy that supports all three.
• Be a trusted partner of each business
• Incorporate the latest technology and research to drive transformation of the workplace experience
• Research, understand and recommend emerging workplace technology tools that support strategic goals including headcount and occupancy analytics, workforce planning, and benchmarking.
• Bring and develop industry leading practices and data informed recommendations to senior leadership to drive decision-making
• Lead strategic and tactical space planning initiatives. Implement a comprehensive change management program supporting the continuous improvement of our workplace
• Deliver in-class workplace services, factoring cost versus needs and expectations from the business to build a dynamic and flexible workplace
• Collaborate with other operational teams in the company to develop site-level strategies, focusing on concise and measure goals (short and long term) around the future state of our client's workplace
• Be the subject matter expert on the real estate industry, trends, and activities in markets as it relates to space, architectural and design trends, metrics for resourcing projects, and management of facilities.
• Work with the Global Head of Workplace and Corporate Real Estate leader to develop a modern workplace strategy that supports and aligns with Paramount's business objectives
• Partner with internal business leaders to prioritize and determine facilities management objectives, initiatives, and ensure new opportunities are identified and evaluated
• Maintain strategic oversight of Paramount's occupancy portfolio, currently encompassing 16.3 million square feet in 37 countries around the world
• Be a change agent and have experience delivering change management to a diverse and global organization
• Minimize the need for, yet manage third party consultants in an effective and prudent manner
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• 15+ years of experience in corporate or commercial tenant real estate with specific experience in areas of workplace, including Workplace Experience, Workplace Strategy, Project Management and Change Management
Additional Qualifications:
• Effective time management and conflict resolution skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and applications
• Proven track record conceiving of and implementing leading workplace design and solutions.
• Strong knowledge of facilities management subject areas and best practices.
• Experience in the entertainment industry is desirable, but not required!
• Ability to manage multiple strategic projects simultaneously through project teams, multiple resources across diverse cross-functional groups in support of enterprise objectives
• Demonstrates a high degree of integrity, expresses ideas clearly, and gets others' buy-in to vision and strategies supporting Paramount's goals and objectives
• Ability to build and positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership
• Excellent interpersonal skills, is sensitive and can manage interpersonal dynamics
• Demonstrated ability to develop and drive execution of a strategy
• Influence key partners through evidence-based analyses
• Forward thinking: anticipating analyses needed by senior leadership
• Strong negotiation experience
• Change management skills

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $268,800.00 - 336,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
