Senior Director, Project Management

Overview & Responsibilities

The Senior Director Project Management is responsible for driving execution and delivery of payroll projects. This position works closely with business partners in HR and Technology and uses strong organizational skills, effective communication, and regular follow-up to drive projects to completion.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global Payroll, and working closely with senior leadership, this position will:
• Drive execution and delivery of payroll projects from start to finish
• Develop project plans; define scope, objectives, deliverables, resource requirements, and project estimates
• Forecast project risks proactively; partner with project leads and cross functional partners to identify, manage, and communicate mitigation plans to partners
• Identify and communicate project breakthroughs, status, and success metrics to internal and external partners throughout the project lifecycle
• Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project deliverables and timelines
• Manage project documentation including requirements documents, RAID logs, and other project artifacts
• Coordinate and lead project meetings
• Understand proper critical information paths and manage accordingly
• Proactively prepare team for upcoming project deliverables
• Complete special projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications
• 10+ years experience in Project Management
• 5+ years experience with Project Management software

Additional Qualifications
• Project Management certification preferred
• Attention to detail and strong oral and written communication skills; able to research thoroughly and present accurate information precisely and confidently
• Must be self-motivated, flexible, and have excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Able to build positive, productive and trusted relationships with stakeholders

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $156,800.00 - 196,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
