Paramount Pictures Australia (PP Australia) is responsible for the sales, marketing, and distribution of theatrical work produced by Paramount Pictures and other Paramount units and studios.
What you'll do as a National Publicity Coordinator:
Provide full administrative & campaign support to the National Publicity team to help achieve the highest level of publicity and media coverage around Paramount Pictures theatrical releases.
Functions will also include:
• Assist and support Snr. National Publicity Manager and National Publicity Manager with the coordination of publicity breaks for each film, including local interviews, syndications, and image/sound/clip requirements as directed
• Cultivate strong working relationships with national media, talent & influencer agencies to ensure efficient communication and maximum coverage and awareness for Paramount theatrical releases and events
• Collaborate and coordinate between Publicity, Media /Digital and Promotions department on local influencer strategies & initiatives.
• Track and report on editorial coverage for Paramount theatrical releases and asset launches
• Coordinate and assist with implementation of national screening programs including targeted word-of-mouth campaigns, reviewer/media screenings and Influencer/VIP screenings
• Coordinate screening invitations & manage RSVPs through ticketing system
• Manage and maintain local databases (media, grassroots, influencer & celebrity) for PR team
• SAP management including purchase orders, goods receipting and client payment
• Campaign Reporting
• Assist with coordination of local talent tours, media junkets and events
• Work with Publicity team on individual film strategies and event/PR ideas
• General ad hoc administrative duties as required/directed
What are we looking for in a National Publicity Coordinator? What's important?
• Excellent administration, customer service, organisational and time management skills
• Experience in PR and/or Co-ordinator position for at least 1 year
• Exposure to working in a media/entertainment business would be beneficial
• Marketing or Communications tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
• SAP experience
• Excellent communication skills- written and verbal.
• Interpersonal skills – including internal and external clients of varying professional levels
• Excellent IT skills – MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint essential
• Ability to work well within a team and under pressure, and take direction from different people
• High level of attention to detail and able to manage conflicting priorities
• Calm under pressure
