Overview & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP, Strategic Marketing, the Localization Manager will oversee the title localization workflow for titles within Paramount Global Content Distribution ensuring that they are effectively adapted for international markets.
This position will be responsible for managing and continually refining the entire title localization process, including generating title reports, working directly with territories on title acceptance, processing the translations through legal, and servicing the final product to internal finishing teams and third party clients.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a relentless attention to detail. They like working autonomously and can meet daily and long-term deadlines. They are very curious, thorough, and highly accurate.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end localization process, including scheduling, running title reports, overseeing clearance, and servicing the finished product.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define localization requirements, process, and timelines.
• Maintain localization planning and reporting, tracking progress and ensuring that deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all necessary assets, documentation, and resources are provided for localization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve localization-related issues, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to find solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with changing localization needs but within the company and industry as a whole. Recommending process improvements and drive innovation within the team.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 4 years experience working in localization process and knowledge of global territories and local languages for each.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Strong working knowledge in Airtable and have the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Additional Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Localization, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, willingness to adjust workflows as needed, and ability to effectively flag and communicate potential issues.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with multiple collaborators, prioritize tasks, and raise issues as needed.
• Excellent at building relationships and communicates clearly with cross-functional partners.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $74,500.00 - $93,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
