Job Description
Overview & Responsibilities:

The Retail Development team focuses on the development of a full range of retail programs to drive our Paramount Consumer Products business at Retail. The Manager, Retail Development will lead all aspects of our business in select toy & entertainment categories at our Target account. They will collaborate with key retail buyers and licensee partners as well as with internal partners including retail marketing, analytics, and franchise teams. This position reports to the Senior Director and will be based in the Minneapolis office, requiring frequent remote interaction with the main office in NYC.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Manage sell-in and sell-thru of key toy categories at the Target account both in-store and online including sporting goods, seasonal, entertainment, electronics, movies, books, and video games.
• Develop relationships and regularly present information to 50+ buyer and vendor contacts to ultimately grow assigned Target category business.
• Handle daily communications with Vendor and Retailer partners, including coordinating sales calls/meetings, sharing sales updates internally, and fielding requests.
• Manage execution of store-wide, in-department, and digital merchandising programs designed to drive sell-in and sell-through.
• Build and distribute updated vendor lists and sales/brand presentations to key partners.
• Maintain frequent and continuous communication with internal Lines of Business/Licensing teams on their launch plans and initiatives.
• Identify and elevate white space opportunities to the line of business partners.
• Work with the Sr. Director & team Coordinator to build elevated sales pitches & presentations that tell the story of Paramount Consumer Products and how our brands help retail partners meet their sales goals.
• Collaborate closely with Retail Marketing, Franchise, and analytics teams to inform presentations.
• Work closely with the coordinator to ensure sales data is captured accurately in assigned categories.

Basic Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in the Retail, Licensing, Entertainment, or related field with some knowledge of sales, kid's media and/or marketing
• Bachelor's Degree OR applicable progressive experience in retail, marketing, creative agency, licensing, consumer products fields may be considered in lieu of education
• Working knowledge of entertainment and/or retail industry
• Advanced PowerPoint expertise
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience driving digital sales programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships across a diverse organization and with external partners and resources.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
• Knowledge of assigned markets and retail structure; existing relationships in the toy or retail industry a plus!
