Commercial Operations facilitates the sales efforts of Global Distribution Group's international TV licensing team. Primarily working with the regional sales executives, Commercial Operations supports fundamental processes, from initial sales lead through deal approval in CRM, to complex analytical support to measure deal integrity and drive revenue.

What will you be doing?

The Executive Director, Commercial Operations facilitates the revenue goals of International TV Licensing. This individual leads a central team, as well as providing mentorship and training for local support teams, to ensure flawless, effortless support for all regional sales executives. In addition, the Executive Director works closely with senior sales management, providing tools and analytics to synthesise our pan-regional business, ensure deal integrity, track performance metrics/trends, and help develop/communicate standard methodologies to drive revenue.

Summary of Role Responsibilities:
• Oversees the team both central and regional, which supports sales negotiations thru facilitating financial analyses, pre-approval of payment/accounting issues, technical security/legal queries, etc. to help the development/shaping of the larger output agreements.
• Help recruit and/or train other Commercial Ops team members.
• Oversee benchmarking of deal terms and fees to ensure deal integrity and stability of business terms and policies.
• Monitor Salesforce deal workflow tasks including customer setup, customer maintenance, deal entry and approval routing
• Oversee deal memo process and commercial deal changes in Salesforce
• Contribute to and implement TV Licensing business and usage rules
• Coordinate with regional sales, deal management and internal groups as needed during deal preparation and deal management
• Field customer inquiries and coordinate with internal groups
• Oversee avail management for internal SVOD and AVOD sites. Maximise profitability by coordinating the flow of titles between licensing opportunities and intercompany usage.
• Monitor franchise and library management with Content Distribution team

What are we looking for?

Essential
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Vast experience in related content distribution
• Facility reading and interpreting contracts
• Experience supervising teams and influencing colleagues
• International and/or cross-cultural experience
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines

Desirable
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power Point, and Excel
• Proficiency in design software a plus (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Ability to work well and remain calm under pressure
• Self-motivated, pro-active
