Overview and Responsibilities:
Come and join our Paramount Leave Administration group as we are looking for a Benefits Leave Analyst to join our team! This position supports the leave administration process for all domestic Paramount Global divisions and will offer exposure to a wide range of Paramount Human Resources Leave Policies and Federal and State regulations. We are looking for an organized and efficient professional that has a strong sense of initiative with a desire to learn and be involved in broader team projects!
Primary Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for...
• Administer Leave of Absence (LOA) processes and procedures for Paramount domestic US employees, this includes:
• Collaborate with Company's third party leave administrator, Unum.
• Partner with HRBPs, employees, and Corporate Benefits to facilitate employee leaves.
• Responsible to respond to all LOA inquiries to ensure employees understand leave policies and their responsibility during a LOA.
• Liaison with Corporate Legal partners, Payroll, and HRIS.
• Organize and maintain LOA spreadsheets to review on-going leaves.
• Liaison with UNUM, HRBPs, and claims administrator (UNUM) to review ADA claims.
• Attend online and onsite meetings as needed.
• Support benefits team for administration of Total Rewards health benefits.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of leave administration experience required
• Working knowledge of FMLA, State protections and Statutory Leave Laws is required.
• Degree in Business administration or similar field required.
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office – SharePoint, etc. is required.
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience with timekeeping and HR systems is desirable.
• Working Knowledge of platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Slack
• Strong organizational skills and follow-up.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong relationship building skills; ability to establish close working relationships with teams and partners.
• Must possess accuracy, logic, analytical and reasoning skills.
• Must work well with time constraints, multiple and moving deadlines.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential communication.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $65,000.00 - 81,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
