The Paramount Programmatic sales team is a central team within the Paramount Sales organization tasked with driving programmatic revenue and embracing the innovation and ad technology that Paramount Programmatic brings to the marketplace. The Programmatic sales team partners with the Convergent sales team and executives, working with direct clients, agencies, and third-party partners (e. g. SSPs, DSPs, ATDs, etc).

The Account Manager will support the Programmatic sales team with planning, executing and monitoring programmatic ad campaigns. This role works closely with programmatic clients and the Paramount Programmatic and Direct Sales teams to ensure flawless campaign planning and execution. This includes diligent campaign management across all steps of the sales process (Pre, Launch, Post), while working closely with internal stakeholders, clients and partners to enhance the effectiveness and revenue potential of their programmatic deals and campaigns.

This role requires strong knowledge and understanding of programmatic advertising and the supporting AdTech ecosystem of DSPs and SSPs, and a strategic and analytical approach to programmatic and data sales.
Overview and Responsibilities:
• Support the education and evangelization of Paramount's programmatic strategy, standard methodologies, and offerings both internally and externally, serving as a key programmatic subject matter expert, evangelist and sales resource to drive programmatic revenue via PMPs and PG.
• Develop a strong understanding of Freewheel, Paramount's integrated SSPs and Salesforce for deal management, forecasting and deal set up.
• Serve as the PMP Deal Manager and Client Service Lead for your assigned Hold Co and Accounts with:

○ Pre Campaign Launch/Deal Creation - Lead PMP Deal Set up and Troubleshooting including Creative QA process, Forecasting support

○ Deal Launch - Proactive Deal Monitoring, Continued Troubleshooting to ensure campaigns start on time and without any issues

○ Deal Monitoring - Attentive PMP campaign monitoring to maximize spend - including PMP pacing spend/deal health, optimizations/recommendations, Internal and External PMP Reporting from Salesforce/Freewheel, continued forecasting support

○ Client Servicing - Proactive engagement with your Programmatic clients through regular check ins to provide regular PMP reports and insights related to deal health while Instilling PMP Best Practices with buyers
• Sales Prospecting - Supporting your assigned Programmatic Account Executives proactive prospecting providing spend reports through indirect opportunities, bid CPM optimization, week over week top spenders across Direct & Indirect businesses
• Collaborating with the Direct Sales team with Programmatic Guaranteed Deal Management to ensure campaign delivery and troubleshooting.

Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years of proven Advertising Sales experience

Additional Qualifications:
• A BS/BA degree, or equivalent training and experience
• 1+ years in the programmatic space preferred
• Programmatic-savvy expertise and an entrepreneurial spirit who will thrive in a team, solution selling and goal oriented environment
• A solid understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and current industry trends in display, video, and native
• A strong desire to win and grow as a sales professional
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• An ability to solution sell to both business and technical audiences
• Well-developed presentation skills
• An ability to handle stress well, and juggle multiple account challenges at once
• A very detail oriented approach with strong analytical thinking, negotiation, strategic problem solving, organizational, and time management skills

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $69,000.00 - 73,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
