We are hiring a Production Safety Assistant based out of the Paramount Pictures Studio Lot in Hollywood, CA. This on-site (5) day per week position provides high-level administrative and organizational support to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Production Safety. This role ensures smooth operations within the safety department by managing schedules, coordinating communications, handling confidential information, and assisting with departmental projects. The position requires great attention to detail, proficient communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic studio environment.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Manage the SVP's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
• Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and take detailed notes for follow-up.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Draft and proofread correspondence, presentations, and reports.
• Coordinate communication between the SVP and production safety teams, studio executives, and vendors.
• Assist in organizing safety-related meetings, training sessions, and events.
• Track departmental projects and deadlines to ensure timely completion.
• Support onboarding processes for new safety employees
• Maintain accurate records of safety initiatives, compliance reports, and departmental files.
• Prepare summaries and presentations for management meetings.
• Assist with compiling data for audits and regulatory compliance.
• Process expense reports and manage departmental budgets.
• Track invoices and assist with vendor payment coordination.
Qualifications/skills
Basic qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1 year of production experience, safety experience a plus.
• Familiarity with film/TV production environments and safety protocols.
Desired skills:
• Impressive organizational and administrative skills for managing documentation and compliance tracking.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with multiple departments.
• Ability to evaluate safety data and recommend improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
• Ability to interpret technical safety guidelines and apply them to production workflows.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $52,000.00 - 58,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
