Overiew and Responsibilities

Paramount's Digital Business Development group is looking for a manager to join their team! This team is responsible for identifying, securing and maintaining distribution partnerships for social and emerging platform partners that drive reach, pertinence, and revenue for Paramount brands and awareness, trials, and subscriptions of Paramount+. Reporting to the VP, Business Development, the Business Development Manager will be a key member of the team, responsible for partnership support. They must be an organized, self-motivated relationship builder with excellent communication skills and passion for social media, tech, and emerging platforms.
• Assist in day-to-day management of large and evolving external Partners such as Meta, Snap, TikTok, etc. in partnership with team VPs and Directors – including partnership management, revenue tracking, performance analysis, and troubleshooting operational issues
• Partner cross-functionally across Paramount Brands' Digital/Consumer Marketing, Ad Sales, Content Distribution, Programming, Finance, Product, Research, Streaming, and Legal to support, gain insight, and help improve partnership value around key initiatives and goals
• Assist team leadership with deals collecting internal feedback and approvals during negotiations and once closed help lead and operationalize drafting deal overviews, tracking commitments, and monitoring performance
• Maintain strong knowledge of partner platforms, including their products, services, business models, and competitors
• Lead standing meetings including agenda creation, scheduling, notes, and follow-up
• Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with both internal and external partners
• Help develop process documents and presentations to integrate partnerships across Paramount
• Ensure Integrated Marketing and Ad Sales are up to date on partnerships, content opportunities, and platform ad products
• Build, analyze, and distribute weekly, quarterly, and year-end partnership reports
• Build, synthesize, and present information into clear presentations for team leadership
• Help find opportunities with existing partners and prospect new partners to help drive growth for Paramount brands and Paramount+ streaming

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of business development or partner/account management experience in the media, content distribution, or tech adjacent space

Addtional Qualifications
• Ability to sift through data, quickly identify key performance indicators, and create deliverable insights
• Strong interpersonal skills to enable candidate to establish effective relationships at all levels
• Knowledge of content distribution, digital advertising business, and social marketing
• Expert at research; comfortable using Google, LinkedIn and other tools to learn more about apps, companies, partners, and key executives.
• Eager self-starter with the goal to make a big impact with an eye for detail
• A shown ability to work independently balancing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced hybrid work environment
• Polished communication skills both written and verbal; comfortable leveling-up communications for executives and deep-diving into operational specifics
• Strong skills in Excel (pivot tables, look ups, index formulas, etc.)
• Adept with crafting impactful presentations within PowerPoint
• Basic familiarity with contracts

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $100,000.00 - 125,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
