For the global fulfillment operations department in Madrid we are looking for a global content operations specialist to join the team for the next 6 months to cover a maternity leave.

About the role

The Global Fulfillment Operations (GFO) team handles all operational needs for multiplatform distribution for both regional and global deals. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and dedicated individual to help support this global team. The Distribution Coordinator will help facilitate the metadata ingestion & QC, image resizing and ingestion, scheduling, file creation, and delivery of World-class VOD content to owned platforms and Paramount Global affiliates, including iTunes, Netflix, Amazon, UPC, SKY. This department is deadline driven and involves strong attention to detail. We work closely with all brands, as well as various internal departments and partners to ensure our content is being delivered on time and without error.

Your role
• Management of Media archives from of third-party distributors, productions teams and Paramount International; and delivery to local and international playouts the broadcast materials for all Paramount brands in Spain (MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, Paramount Channel, Comedy).
• Media Management support for (Programming/On Air/Marketing/Ad Sales/Production and TAM).
• Receiving scheduling forecasts and priorities of each brand from Programming, On Air and Production teams.
• Ensuring all content is TX for premier (coordinating with both scheduling and playouts for all brands): Tracing and notification of all brands' materials deliveries to their playouts, playouts' material-related incidents management and coordinating with the playout centers the deleting/recovering of expired materials.
• Reference contact for all distributors (vendors) and clients in all material-related matters: Receiving delivery forecasts from GCO for all brand content; request and media management of TX content coming either from Paramount (locally produced and GCO) and third-party distributors (55 local, 24 foreign); monitoring TX deadlines keeping track of pending materials and coordinating with COM/GLO for localized content; PTIS CSC support for Paramount's materials sold to third-parties.
• Management of LTO tools: Load and unload of LTO tapes in the company tools (Presstore & ETERE HSM) to allow users downloads of media contents, to ensure online storages back up and media file archiving.
• Responsible for internal and external global client relationships; main point of contact regarding all non-linear publishing requests, deliveries and enquiries.
• Liaise with global operational, business, programming, production, marketing, strategy and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate availability to content for processing/delivering to partners and any necessary localisation elements, including video, dubbing, subtitles, captions, images, metadata.
• Managing Global monthly schedules, daily scheduling changes, and content delivery for all platforms.
• Creation and maintenance of all Global multiplatform scheduling components.
• Content shows creation in systems, ingestion and validation of all metadata necessary for distribution.
• Creating digital files for all content that requires distribution (i.e., caption/subtitle/audio files, video files, posters and metadata).
• Ensure content is delivered on time and in spec to guarantee flawless linear transmissions and publishing on our client's platforms.
• Communicating with our VOD and other partners as necessary to ensure they are receiving content correctly and metadata is up to date.
• Troubleshoot and pro-actively manage issues as they arise through all stages of multiplatform asset creation and delivery alongside the technical support teams.
• Escalate any network related issues appropriately.
• Monitor the processing of content across systems.
• Track fulfillment through internal tracking/scheduling systems for processing and delivery.
• Identify and advise on global efficiencies around operational procedures.
• Oversee and uphold the highest of quality standards on all deliverables.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Provide operational support and input around departmental global projects (day and date, tight turnarounds, MTV/Nickelodeon awards live specials, etc.) and manage the on boarding of new clients (VOD, OTT, Apps, Mobile, Websites) to support internal departments, affiliates, and digital initiatives.

YOUR PROFILE
• Years of experience: 1+ of media management and experience preferred (linear/non-linear/VOD experience is an advantage)
• Study: Bachelor+ level of working and thinking is preferred

Specific tech/pro skills and specific other needs:
• Understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook and Excel).
• Fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
• Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills to interface with various networks, departments, and levels of management.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a Global team.
• Proactive self-starter and team player, with the ability to prioritise workload.
• High level of operational excellence, highly organised and systems oriented.
• Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.
• Knowledge of file-based distribution, scheduling and/or content management systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of entertainment media acquisition, production, packaging, delivery and distribution workflows including Rights, Scheduling, Digital Asset Management and Finance Systems (desirable).
