Job Description
We are seeking a Legal Coordinator to support our Motion Pictures Business Affairs department. This position will be responsible for providing support to a Senior Vice President, Business Affairs in connection with the negotiation of rights, writing, producing, directing, acting and other development- and production-related deals for feature films.

Responsibilities:
• Draft and distribute memos summarizing the principal terms of the deals closed by Business Affairs executive(s).
• Maintain and distribute agenda for a weekly meeting among executives of various departments (e.g., Business Affairs, Legal Affairs, Creative, Production).
• Conduct research on talent prior to supervisor beginning deal negotiation(s) and other research as needed throughout the development of a project.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, e-filing, scanning/copying documents, document preparation, redlining, document and mail distribution, office supply maintenance, and expense report preparation.
• Manage supervisor's contacts and calendar.
• Screen and respond to incoming calls and correspondence.
• Coordinate conference calls and meetings (in-person or virtual) with talent agencies, talent law firms, and/or internal Paramount executives.
• Compose and prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and other documents.
• Build and maintain database and spreadsheet files.

Basic qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 2 years' experience supporting an executive in a legal environment.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and internet software
• Experience in the customs and language of the US entertainment industry.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $55,000.00 - 64,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
