The Role and What You'll Do
On Location is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Coordinator to join the company's sports marketing team, supporting the collegiate sports and NCAA verticals focusing on key events such as the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, Rose Bowl, and collegiate fan travel. This is a great opportunity for a marketer that desires to grow their career in sports marketing. The role will report to the Collegiate Sports marketing lead(s) and will work closely with other cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be energetic, willing to learn and able to work under pressure while juggling multiple deadlines. Additionally, they should be able to communicate clearly and concisely with varied levels of staff including managers, directors, and executives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist the Collegiate Sports marketing lead(s) with the creation of integrated marketing plans for the Aer Lingus Classic, Rose Bowl and additional collegiate operations including college travel and serve as a liaison with event housing while managing cross-promotional marketing initiatives when required.
• As it relates to the Aer Lingus Classic, assist in the development and maintenance of participating university microsites as well as video and photo asset management for the event.
• Assist in planning and organizing outbound email marketing for collegiate sports and NCAA events including copy, list segmentation, and scheduling to include promotional emails, pre-event and post-event/thank you/survey emails, etc.
• Experience in writing copy for email, social and web with the ability to switch between tones and voices dependent on the property and medium.
• Act as liaison between external partners and internal creative teams to request, review and deliver brand appropriate creative and content for partner marketing assets.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to update content on collegiate e-commerce microsites as well as On Location's website as needed, including the addition of new events for which images, logos, copy, products, schedules, and pricing will be displayed.
• This position may require weekend, holiday, and after hours work as needed during peak times of the year. Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing/related field or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 1-2+ years marketing experience, sports marketing experience a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate and build effective relationships both within a business and among its partner organizations at all levels
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator a plus
• Produce accurate work, even when under pressure, checking the accuracy of information before using or passing on to others

Location/Travel:
• This position will be based in Dallas, TX
• Some travel to NCAA events may be required
