Obsidianworks is a minority-owned, culturally powered creative and marketing agency founded by Michael B. Jordan and Chad Easterling engaged in conversation with diverse communities to drive change with purpose. With clients ranging from Target to Timberland to Marriott, we help clients access new audiences in an authentic way.
Obsidianworks is seeking a Head of Operations . This person will have the opportunity to work on a variety of high visibility projects that will shape the Company's marketing operational initiatives.

This is a highly collaborative and cross-functional role that will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop, execute, and support
Obsidianworks ' strategic vision, while also collaborating with JV partner 160over90 to reach business objectives.

You're an experienced Operations Leader who is a true business partner. Ambitious and unafraid of challenging conventions , you are a collaborative leader and strong consensus builder . Y ou're adept at bringing various viewpoints together and inspiring action behind a shared vision both to internal and external stakeholders. You're comfortable with data and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to dig into the detail. The ideal candidate will consistently demonstrate an ability to synthesize complex business information into a crisp, compelling, fact-based point of view while bringing rigor to the OW's agency marketing operational processes . This position reports to the Obsidianworks CEO, Chad Easterling .

Responsibilities:
• Provide clear guidance and set the tone for operational output across our organization
• Analyze and i dentify business problems and provide solutions for improvement .
Own and implements solutions as a member of
Obsidianworks 's Senior Leadership Team
• Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of organization's operations, ensuring compliance and data accuracy
• Monitor and evaluate programmatic and operational effectiveness, and effects changes required for improvement. E ffects change to identifies area needing improveme nt
• Track utilization rates of our team and identify gaps/opportunities for improvement
• Proactively work with
Obsidianworks 's internal teams and ensure successful (on time and on budget) execution of all deliverables, with all items met in MSA/SOW and properly tracked in company systems
• H ave a vision for the growth of this function within
Obsidianworks
• Demonstrate a capacity to stay ahead of internal trends and suggest ideas to improve current processes
• Ensure proper onboarding (including training and orientation) and offboarding for employees in conjunction with your HR Business Partner
• Maintain quality services by establishing and enforcing operational standards and processes
• Maintain work process flows and requirements with business areas
• Form and refine best practices while collaborating with leadership to create efficient ways of working best suited for our business

Requirements:
• Minimum of 8 years of Operations experience, ideally in an Agency setting
• A go-getter : someone who wants to grow their career and take on new challenges
• Numerate: must be able to pull data and manipulate it to drive decision-making
• Solid understanding of financial concepts and proven ability to be financially accountable (with client and agency budgets)
• Clear, consistent, detailed, and persuasive presentation/ communication skills
• Someone with deep intellectual curiosity and a desire to get to the 'why'
• Ability to comfortably switch context throughout the day /week/month and year
• Detail-oriented leader who can navigate a multi-level, multi-project team to execute under tight deadlines
• Experience with Workamajig CRM, and PowerBI systems a plus

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Range Minimum:
$123,750 annually

Hiring Range Maximum:
$165,000 annually
