$1200/ a week paid weekly on Thursday nights.
We are seeking the perfect addition to our existing team. As the day-to-day contact and liaison on behalf of The Empire Strips Back, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations before, during, and after performances. Reporting to the Director of Venue Operations and the Producers, your responsibilities include:
FOH/VENUE OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT: SOURCE AND MANAGE STAFF Ushers ( 10 ) Backups (5) and Merchandise Lead ( 1 )
Merchandise Inventory: Oversee merchandise area setup, product inventory, and reconcile sales reports daily. -Work closely with the designated Merchandise Lead for each performance.
Fever Liaison: As ESB exclusively sells tickets through our ticketing platform, Fever, you’ll be the point of contact for Fever representatives, ensuring a seamless audience experience from entry to exit. Oversee ticket scanning and seating arrangements. Work closely with ushers to manage audience flow. Resolve any ticketing issues efficiently. -Monitor and document guest attendance.
Payroll Tracking/ Daily Reporting: Monitor hours and payroll details for all FOH staff. Collaborate with the finance department on weekly payroll and expense payments. Prepare comprehensive FOH expense reports from existing templates. Provide nightly written reports to the DOO, Producers, and other team members using existing templates. Collect and report feedback from patrons to improve future experiences.
Facility Maintenance and Organization: Attention to detail within ALL areas of the Venue: -Bathrooms (Cast & Crew as well as guests) -Lobby, bar, and merchandise area -Theater (approximately 300 seats) -Implement safety protocols to ensure the well-being of personnel and patrons. -Develop and communicate emergency procedures to FOH staff. -Train ushers on evacuation protocols and first aid. -Be prepared to handle unexpected situations during performances with care and grace. Collaboration and Communication: -Coordinate daily operations with the venue owner. -Work closely with the Stage Manager to maintain show timing. Flexibility and Adaptability: -Productions can be dynamic, so be prepared to adapt to changing circumstances. -Maintain a positive, solution-oriented approach even during high-pressure moments.
