BOARD OP (Theater)

The smash-hit burlesque parody,The Empire Strips Back, is in Las Vegas starting April 28th. NX5 Theatrical is now accepting submissions for an experienced Board Operator.

SALARY

$1,200 weekly. This includes up to 40 work hours with overtime being awarded for any hours worked beyond the initial 40.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT

First day of employment: 5/28/25

Last day of employment: 8/16/25 (potential for extension)

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Monday: 6:30pm- 10:00pm

Tuesday: -

Wednesday: 6:30pm- 10:00pm

Thursday:6:30pm- 10:00pm

Friday: 5:30pm- 11:30pm (2 shows)

Saturday: 5:30pm- 11:30pm (2 shows)

Sunday: 5:30pm- 9:00pm

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary role of the Board Operator is running lighting, sound, and video through a centralized QLab computer during rehearsals and performances, following cues given by the Stage Manager.

Experience with running and programming ETC lighting consoles and operating and programming QLab is a MUST. Experience with projections and sound is a plus, specifically with a BehringerX32.

The Board Operator must be respectful of others at all times, be safety conscious, and demonstrate a focus on team work and collaboration. Due to the sensitive nature of this production, which includes several topless acts,we demand a high level of professional conduct.

Please note: Water-based haze and strobing lighting effects are used during rehearsals and performances.
