Overview and Responsibilities

SUMMARY

Nickelodeon Animation Studio is looking for an Animation Casting Director. The Casting Director oversee casting for all assigned Nickelodeon shows. They report to the SVP of Animation Casting and Talent Development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Should have a background in Animation Casting
• Oversee Casting Director Process for assigned Nickelodeon Animation Shows
• Manage Casting Coordinator, Casting Assistant, Voice Record Coordinator and Voice Record Assistant
• Run Casting/Callback Sessions
• Collaborate with Casting Executive Oversight on Stunt Lists, Creative Insight and Approvals
• Manage Oversight of Show Record Schedule and Paperwork
• Send invoices to Line Producer for payment.
• Track all payments for Talent
• Work with Network Casting Executive and BALA to ensure that we are compliant with Union guidelines

Basic Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 3+ years of Casting Director experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under strenuous deadlines
• Detail-oriented (Extremely Important)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
