Job Description
WGN-TV is searching for a creative, informed and innovative producer for our morning newscasts.

Responsibilities:
• Produce strong, fast-paced, hour-long newscasts with particular attention to breaking news
• Work closely with other producers, field crews and the assignment desk to maximize daily resources and appropriately reflect the news of the day
• Write captivating teases and review writers' scripts
• Create and order graphics for newscasts
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Requirements and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, or a related field
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Desktop editing skills preferred
• Minimum three years' experience in news operations
• Leadership ability, positive attitude and creativity a must
