Traffic Hub Director

Job Description

The Traffic Hub Director promotes favorable service to advertising sales clients by overseeing the regional Traffic department, their work production in relation to quality, quantity and client services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manages the fulfillment operations to ensure audience and programmatic-based advertisements run per client's contract
• Provides resolution to complex and exception operational issues and manages the high-level escalation issues from both internal and external sources
• Works closely with the members of the management team in addressing issues specific to the needs of the customer and requirements of the marketplace
• Provides vision and direction to the department regarding corporate, division and regional goals, business plans and initiatives
• Establishes and communicates clear direction and priorities to the department management, vendors, and works with other departmental leaders to ensure priorities are met
• Monitors the team, system and fulfillment execution to ensure results meet the need of client's campaigns and operational deadlines
• Evaluates operational and technological needs to keep our competitive advantage in the industry both from a sales and operational perspective
• Resolves schedule problems
• Work closely with the markets and department to ensure data is accurate and training is effective
• Monitors the team execution of functions and the adherence to established policies
• Assists leadership team in further development and managerial skills
• Educate co-workers on various configurations and/or customization options
• Contribute to the development and alignment of the company's business strategy
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements & Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent of 10+ years' broadcast media experience
• Experience working with Wide Orbit traffic software Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task, balance priorities and take direction Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
• Possess excellent oral and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing culture and environment

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

The Traffic Hub Director must be able to:
• remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
• conduct telephone conversations
• communicate directly with individuals or groups

• work in close proximity to others
