Job Description
The Traffic Director is responsible for scheduling and finalizing the daily traffic logs.
• Interfaces with Sales Management regarding inventory issues
• Collaborates with management, Account Executives and Sales Support to ensure commercial spots are executed in accordance with contract provisions
• Works directly with AE's, the production department, agencies and commercial providers to ensure all instructions and spots are received, input and delivered in a timely manner
• Monitors changes and resolves Traffic department discrepancies
• Coordinates with other departments to maintain commercial inventory and to provide billing information
• Updates Sales Managers on available inventory
• Plans and schedules to meet all require deadlines, (daily, weekly and monthly)
• Manage commercial traffic logs and maxim
• Primary responsibilities include acquisition and input of local, national and network commercial copy, completion of network affidavits, and filing
• Produces daily commercial logs by obtaining information, importing orders, and capturing commercial advertising schedules
• maximize inventory
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements and Skills:
• 3+ years in related functions; Broadcast or agency traffic experience preferred
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work well under pressure against tight deadlines and changing priorities
• Works independently with little supervision and strong decision-making abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of traffic management systems (OSI, Broadview, Wide Orbit etc.)
• Detail-oriented team player with a solid commitment to accuracy and efficiency
• Demonstrates initiative and willingness to acquire new skills and additional duties
