Technical Director / Photographer

Job Description

• Shoot, edit and produce stories from news & community events both live and recorded for morning show.
• Work closely with reporters to complete daily assignments and collaborate on the best methods to produce content for multiple platforms.
• Must possess ability to gather news content independently and efficiently for all platforms.
• Collaborate daily with story topics and or ideas for ''Nat'' packages.
• Must have experience with Adobe premiere, Ross overdrive automated system, expression graphic system and ENPS.
• Set up and execute live shots from scene through our Dejero real time video transporting system.
• Direct and help execute the production of various live and tape broadcast and productions through fully automated system.
• Collaborate with story topics and or Nat packages to executive producer.
• Maintains assigned equipment and keeps vehicle in good working condition.
• Execute special projects and other duties as assigned by Producers, Executive Producer or News Director.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism or related field or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Must have experience working with Adobe premiere, Ross overdrive system, Expression graphic system and ENPS.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to meet deadlines prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Minimum of five years' experience as a news or production photographer/editor required.
• ENG / SNG truck operation experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 60 pounds on a regular basis and maintain maintains a positive attitude with teamwork mentality.
• Valid drivers license and good driving record.
• Flexibility to work any shift this job requires you to work overnight.
