Title: Sr. Manager, Measurement Solutions

Reports to: VP, Measurement Innovation

Location: New York

Salary Range: $100 - $120K

Position Summary:

Join our newly created Measurement Innovation team and be part of our exciting journey to transform media measurement for Nexstar and the industry. As Manager of Measurement Solutions, you will report to VP of Measurement Innovation and be a close collaborator across research, ad sales, data science and platform and product teams.

This is a front-line position whose goal is to best set the organization up for revenue growth through accurate and scalable measurement solutions. The Measurement Solutions Manager, will serve as a strategic partner to support our unified sales and their clients to utilize our advanced TV tools and solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the advanced TV ecosystem including measurement and attribution analytics, as well as the work being done by measurement and attribution companies. As a project manager you will manage several ongoing projects that include PoCs and internal analysis from workflow to process to final presentation to senior management.

Flexibility will be a key part of success, because each day, each project, will have different components that require strategic thinking, multi-tasking, creativity and out of box thinking. This is a fast-paced group that requires agility, attention to detail, and a strong background in project management!

About the role:
• Work in partnership (and independently), with guidance to organize and address daily projects, as well as larger-scale departmental initiatives and strategic goals, including innovative forms of measurement and best-practices PoC studies.
• Assist and project manage cutting edge media measurement methodologies, including current RFP for measurement, attribution and optimization.
• Partner with product, client strategy, data science and platform ops teams enhance Nexstar's go to marketing sales strategy
• Work with senior research leaders in evaluating measurement solutions, tools, and data sources to understand capabilities and potential benefits to full funnel media measurement
• Monitor ongoing studies and determine opportunities for optimization and improving performance; This will require proactive and regular communication with the sales campaign management teams, as well as vendor partners.
• Maintain results and client report databases to establish a repository for learnings and best practices
• Develop, supervise and manage measurement and data vendors/partners, keeping track of key project details such as timing, data output, troubleshooting and anticipating issues as they arise.

About You/ Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Statistics, Data/analytics, Research Digital Media), or equivalent training and/or experience.
• 5+ years' experience working research, or data preferred.
• Understanding of broadcast/cable, Connected TV/OTT and digital media landscapes as well cross-platform measurement and advanced TV solutions.
• Must have an eagerness to learn new areas of the media business and work in an ever changing fast paced environment.
• Be an expert in the accountability/measurement area and proactively increase knowledge of the most current measurement systems and resources, while applying best practices to highlight advertising proof of performance
• Be extremely organized and self-sufficient in maintaining workflow deadlines and deliverables
• Strategic thinker with developed analytical and data interpretation skills
• Interpret data, write reports, and make actionable recommendations, presenting findings to account teams as necessary
• Experience with Excel and dashboarding/data visualization
