The media group of KTVX (ABC), KUCW (CW) and KCSG (MeTV), part of Nexstar Nation, is looking for a dynamic sales star to grow our new local direct and digital sales efforts. Our next Sales Manager will have a proven recruiting track-record and vision of long-term success who will build and lead a team of winning Account Executives. 3-5 years of television and digital sales management experience is preferred while 5+ years of television and digital sales experience is mandatory. Top candidates will have Local Sales Manager experience with strong digital sales knowledge or digital sales management experience, excellent motivational, leadership and forecasting skills along with a proven track-record of rate integrity and winning new business. The bar is high, but you will not do it all by yourself. You will have the support of America's Largest Media company backing you up. We have all the tools, all the resources and a deep bench of experienced leaders who will support you as you move your team to new levels of success.

Potential candidates should be experienced with Nielsen ratings, ComScore, Wide Orbit, Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, and social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. Our approach to local advertising is multi-platform and uses the power of local television and our owned and operated digital assets as well as our audience extension products such as CTV and OTT.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our Local AE's, including development of new business and achievement of TV and Digital revenue goals
• Providing leadership for the broadcast/digital sales teams
• Making decisions regarding hiring, evaluation, promotion, and operation of account executives and sales assistants
• Development and execution of sales strategies which result in exceeding revenue targets in local, new business and digital revenue
• Driving new business development
• Managing inventory and revenue forecasting
• Managing recruitment, training, evaluation, and development of sales professionals
• Preparing budgets and approves budget expenditures
• Managing Accounts Receivable
• Developing and cultivating client relationships alongside Account Executives
• Ability to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from conception to execution

Requirements and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• Minimum five years of media sales experience; management experience preferred; solid knowledge of digital technology including mobile and social media platforms
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Experience recruiting, guiding, directing, and motivating personnel, including setting and monitoring performance standards.
• Experience establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them
• Ability to identify the developmental needs of others and to coach, mentor or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge or skills
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and other office equipment
• Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic, Strata, Matrix, and comScore, Google Manager and Social Platforms is preferred

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
• Must be able to sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work near others, work outdoors occasionally in all weather conditions, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
• In addition, must be able to lift, set up and operate equipment weighing up to 25 pounds, and can handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls. Repetitive movements are required. Work may be conducted in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions.
