KOIN 6 TV/KOIN.com/Portland's CW, a Nexstar Media Inc. owned CBS and CW duopoly in Portland, Oregon has an immediate opening for a Sales Coordinator.

The Sales Coordinator is a team player who works with the sales team to maximize station revenue opportunities from an order entry, traffic and accounting perspective. The Sales Coordinator is also responsible for performing clerical functions required by department personnel as needed.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
• Enters order, traffic and accounting data
• Corresponds with clients/National Representatives and confers with internal team members to answer inquiries and provide solutions
• Performs clerical functions for the Sales Department
• Prepares forms, reports, posts analysis and campaign recaps
• Monitors inventory, preempts, makegoods and order revisions
• Maintains files and other business records
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:
• High School diploma
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Minimum one year's experience in clerical support or administrative assistance, preferably in the sales or media fields
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment

Training/Equipment: MS Office to include: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook. Wide Orbit, a plus.

Work Environment/Mental/Physical Requirements: This position requires a cooperative, pleasant attitude, and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities and challenges. May work in a high stress environment with deadline pressures.

The employee in this position must be able to sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, work near others, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
