Job Description
The Production Assistant is responsible for various television production duties required to record scenes for live and recorded broadcasts. This is a temporary position. Great for opportunity for college students looking for on the job experience.
• Edit video for newscasts
• Attach video to placeholders
• Work closely with producers
• Build graphics for newscasts
• Occasionally post news stories and videos online
• Run teleprompter for newscasts
• Time newscasts
• Communicate with news talent
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
