Job Description

Primary duties include shooting and editing news stories in the field either with a reporter or independently. This position is responsible, at times, for gathering information and obtaining on-camera interviews as required. Setting up and operating live remotes in microwave, satellite and bonded cellular units as required.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a television news photographer/editor. Applicants must demonstrate creativity, initiative, and a desire to try new things. Must have a working knowledge of field cameras, non-linear editing and experience in operation of ENG/SNG units. College degree or equivalent related experience is required. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Applicants must possess the ability to work well under pressure and collaborate with others. The ability to be a self-starter and to handle constant and last minute changes is critical. Strong organizational, logistical skills and attention to detail are a must. Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends. May be required to work early morning hours, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays.
