Job Description
Join our News Team as a Photographer/Editor Fill-In.

Responsibilities:

The Photographer/Editor is responsible for the operation of cameras, editing and microwave equipment used in electronic newsgathering.

Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree in broadcasting or similar major required.
• Must know spot news, but have an eye for creative storytelling, as well.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment (50lbs) and work various shifts.
• Ability to maneuver and operate a live truck required.
• Driver's license required as position requires driving.
• Good communication skills, sound editorial judgment and familiarity with Chicago city streets a plus.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere a plus.
• Three to five years television news gathering, editing and microwave experience required.
• Must include a link to online reel with your resume!
• Position requires IBEW membership.
