The Multimedia Journalist produces, reports, shoots, writes, voices, edits and feeds news production content for all platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging and meaningful to news consumers.

ABC50 & NewsChannel 9 have an immediate opening for a Multimedia Journalist to cover the North Country. The Northern New York Reporter will produce, report, shoot, write, voice, edit and feed news production content for all platforms including WWTI's simulcast of WSYR news. The NNY Reporter will seek content that is clear, engaging, and meaningful to news consumers in both the Watertown and Syracuse DMA's. The position will be based at WWTI-ABC50 in Watertown.

Experience:

A minimum of two years' experience in news reporting.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism (or related field) required. Fluency in English with ability to ad lib when required and excellent written and oral communication skills. Superior on-air presence. Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Flexibility to work any shift.

COMPENSATION: $16.00 - $17.50/HOUR
