Job Description
A successful Managing Editor needs to have various prerequisite skills and qualifications in order to handle their job duties effectively, including:
• Advanced writing and editing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to come up with creative ideas
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Able to manage reporters and photographers and assignments
• Works closely with News Director in managing content for newscasts
• Five years minimum experience working in a news department.

Compensation - $80,000+ commensurate with experience and skill level
