Job Description
The IDS is responsible for assisting the local sales team develop digital marketing solutions and advertising campaigns that generate superior outcomes for our clients. This position functions full time from company offices and studios in Salt Lake City, Utah. It manages the aggregation and distribution of video advertising content across linear and streaming platforms. The IDS contributes some editorial and quality control of content on client-facing company websites, mobile apps, social platforms, and other digital communications. The IDS masters Nexstar's proprietary tools to develop solutions, proposals, and presentations for sales to targeted and existing clients. The IDS collaborates with account executives, administrative team members, Digital Sales Manager, Local Sales Manager and Director of Sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create and execute, in collaboration with account executives, go-to-market strategies and tactics that result in superior outcomes for the client and in accordance with departmental and company revenue goals.
• Maintain a high level of public relations as a representative Nexstar in all settings.
• Contribute to the management and growth of meaningful client relationships.

Conceptualize new digital marketing channels, platforms, and advertising tools to enhance and improve all aspects of client ROI as directed by the Director of Sales and in accordance with company standards.
• Requirements and Skills:
• BA or BS in Business Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred
• 3+ years of digital marketing or media sales preferred
• Significant knowledge of the local digital marketing services product offering and effective use for clients
• Motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who can work effectively both independently and collaborating in a team environment
• Effective communication and client presentation skills
• Enjoys making in-person sales calls, including cold calls, to businesses needing B to B as well as B to C digital campaign strategies
• Ability to interact with high-level decision makers
• Ability to execute in an organization through collaboration and a consultative process
• Excellent follow-up, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
• Meaningful contributor in sales meetings on digital marketing topics (ex. best practice sharing, industry trends)
• Be an effective partner with the market's sales team in generating digital revenue

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Must be able to sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work near others, work outdoors occasionally in all weather conditions, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.

In addition, must be able to lift, set up and operate equipment weighing up to 25 pounds, and can handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls. Repetitive movements are required. Work may be conducted in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions.
