News10 ABC in Albany, New York is seeking a SUPERSTAR Integrated Digital Specialist.

The Integrated Digital Specialist will be an expert in local digital and cross platform sales, have a solid understanding of the local digital marketplace, and be knowledgeable about how to effectively package our digital assets to maximize our digital advertising and digital marketing services revenue.

The successful candidate will identify key target accounts and partner with Account Executives and Sales Managers, and with our local businesses and/or advertising agencies with a consultative, creative, and solutions-oriented approach. You will be the digital subject matter expert on the team, working to find new business opportunities, and accompanying Nexstar Account Executives on client meetings. The IDS will have the ability to effectively lead digital conversations, providing a high level of digital knowledge and acumen, and possess the ability to strategize and recommend innovative and effective digital marketing solutions to help grow our client's businesses.

You will be responsible for both independently growing new digital business, as well as working directly with our sales team to help them develop and grow new and existing digital business. The ideal candidate will have a curiosity to understand client needs by conducting pre-meeting research and using tools provided to help develop a needs-based point of view. Your strong consultative sales skills will build relationships with our clients by listening and providing marketing expertise. You bring value to clients and will help to simplify their digital marketing spend by maximizing their digital footprint and help clients gain market share.

You will have a team of digital marketing product experts to support your business. At Nexstar, we craft custom marketing plans for each client.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, driven digital marketing sales expert.
• Drive digital revenue through our suite of audience extension and O&O digital platform products.
• Generate new business and grow select accounts to maximize digital revenue market-share.
• Creative thinking, strategic, solution-based approach.
• Create and execute, go-to-market strategies and tactics that result in superior outcomes for the client and in accordance with departmental, company and personal revenue goals.
• Engaged by connecting daily with Account Executives & clients, assisting Account Executives in researching and uncovering client needs to present marketing ideas and solutions that result in monthly recurring revenue.
• Attending sales calls with Account Executives by generating new digital sales revenue and growing digital business from existing broadcast and digital clients.
• Establish, maintain, and grow meaningful client relationships, developing results driven marketing solutions across multiple platforms.
• Be an effective educator and ambassador both internally and externally on digital benefits and trends.
• Meaningful contributor to sales team on digital marketing topics including best practices, industry trends, resources to assist with pre-sales call information gathering, as well as strategy and proposal creation.
• Effective team player and sales closer.
• Assists Digital Sales Manager with digital sales strategy and operational tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills:
• BA or BS in Business Marketing/Advertising or Digital Sales experience preferred.
• 2+ years of digital marketing services, product offerings and effective use for clients is preferred.
• High level of digital knowledge and acumen including ability to understand and analyze campaign performance and key metrics.
• Must be a motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who can work effectively both independently and collaborating in a team environment.
• Enjoys making in-person sales calls, including cold calls, to businesses needing B2B as well as B2C digital campaign strategies.
• Ability to interact with high-level decision makers.
• Ability to execute in an organization through collaboration and a consultative process.
• Excellent follow-up, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail is a must.
• Proven Ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Keep up with industry trends and changes.
• Proficiency in MS Office products required.
• Experience with DFP / Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, Wide Orbit and Matrix are a plus.
• Partner with current sales team to generate digital revenue.

Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary: $50,000, plus Commission
• 401k after 60 days
• Optional medical, dental and vision insurance after 30 days
