Graphics Producer

Job Description

Nexstar Media Group is seeking a Graphics Producer to be part of a bold team of in-house designers, in Chicago, Illinois. This is a unique opportunity to work on a national network level for in news and entertainment. We're looking for a motivated and experienced graphics coordinator who is innovative, organized, driven and can project manage design deliverables processes from conception to final delivery. The graphics coordinator reports to the Design Director and works closely alongside the Production Manager to coordinate all department workflow and deliverables. Must have 3+ years' experience working in broadcast news, local or network level. Similar experience in broadcast entertainment or post-production considered.
• Project manage the workflow of all on-air graphics, marketing campaigns, and social media.
• Coordinate with the design team, Graphics Automation Specialist, Production Manager, Design Director and show teams to manage of all workflow and deliverables for various design related needs such as on-air graphics, franchise graphics, print, video & Ross Expression templates.
• Create and manage project timelines from conception to final deliverable. Oversee the tracking of all projects graphics assets and timelines, ensuring that all assets are delivered on time.
• Analyze workflow, identify, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
• Must have 3 or more years' experience in broadcast news or entertainment. Related fields like postproduction will be considered.
• Must have 3 or more years' experience as a graphics coordinator or project manager in a broadcast design related field.
• Must have a detailed understanding of graphics and motion design workflow as it relates to broadcast news and entertainment.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, working on-site in our downtown Chicago location.
