Qualifications

A proven leader that can manage, develop and inspire a team of journalists with exceptional news judgement

Ability to make effective decisions and own the editorial broadcast content in the morning.

Collaborate with the Digital team to develop winning multi-platform content.

A solid producing background, a minimum of three to four years

Creative showcasing skills under deadline pressure

Excellent news writer

Experience producing special projects

A visual architect that can enhance stories

Bachelor's Degree in communication, TV

Responsibilities

Lead and innovate morning team of broadcast and digital journalists

Edit and proofread scripts and graphics for accuracy
Oversee and guide the content stacking of multiple newscasts and special projects

Complete and organize Producer schedules

Lead and assign stories produced by morning reporters daily

Spearhead producer coaching

Coordinate future story planning with assignment desk
