Title: Dir, Advanced Advertising & Partnerships

Base Salary range: $150K - $160K

Location: New York – 1325

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for achieving sales performance and meeting and exceeding revenue targets for all Nexstar properties.Will work closely with buy side partners (agencies/DSP) on all addressable inventory opportunities and marketplace advancements. Will focus on digital investment leads and their priorities and ensure Nexstar as a 'must-buy' for advertisers to reach and engage audiences at scale across platforms. This includes but is not limited to Programmatic Guaranteed, Private Marketplace, Preferred Deals, and addressable opportunities. The Director of Advanced Advertising & Partnerships will be the internal lead/SME with agency and DSP partners.

esponsibilities include:
• Will achieve revenue and growth targets.Identify and execute strategies which result in exceeding revenue targets.
• Grow and manage agency holding company relationships with a digital focus.
• Develop and manage key client / advertiser relationships and evangelize the full suite of content and ad product offerings.
• Nurture and enhance relationships to become a more advanced resource for our clients.
• Focus on helping clients/advertisers utilize innovative data and technology solutions to deliver high value precision targeting.
• Serve as the Nexstar lead with Hold co digital leadership.
• Serve as the Nexstar SME on programmatic for National and NSO
• Generate 1:1 addressable revenue from assigned holding companies and independent agencies.
• ork cross functionally with various teams and individuals while managing development and implementation of strategies for programmatic capabilities.
• Develop relationships with DSPs to evangelize the Nexstar portfolio, capabilities, and value proposition to the marketplace.
• Act as internal liaison sharing marketplace information around trends and future needs for addressable growth.
• Participate in developing go to market strategy.
• Work with platform services teams to ensure supply path optimization and deal health / delivery.
• Work cross functionally with various teams and individuals while managing development and implementation of strategies for programmatic capabilities.
• Remain current with competitive networks and the overall marketplace.
• Understand client's needs, prepare sales plans, proposals and (pitch) presentations.
• Identify new business; develop new relationships with key marketing/media decision makers.
• On-going responsibilities include sales presentations, pitching, prospecting, category expansion and developing opportunities to optimize client KPIs and maximize revenue.
• Grow strategic partnerships specializing in data enablement and advanced media.
• ccelerate revenue growth by extending and championing improved technologies and workflows across the org.
• Identify and capture strategic high-value opportunities
• Will collaborate closely with departments across the organization, including yield, marketing, operations, technology etc. to maximize partnership opportunities.
• Provide thought leadership with an emphasis on both actionable and future-state offerings within the digital space
• Work effectively with team members throughout the portfolio; leverage relationships across the company to align client needs with all offerings

About you:
• 10+ years' experience in advertising, media, and relevant sales positions
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Holds an influential presence in advertising and digital media communities
• eep understanding of publisher monetization technologies
• Analytical, data-driven mindset with proven experience with data modeling and reporting
• Extensive experience in digital advertising sales and brings strong holding company relationships.
• Established relationships with key digital and independent agencies and client contacts within the market
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to develop and present strategic updates to internal and external stakeholders
• Strategic thinker, creative problem solver, resourceful
• Exceptional ability to develop and maintain cross-functional relationships
